Voltaire is really hard to pin down musically. Dark cabaret? Sort of. If I had to put a name on it, where I didn't care about how it sounded, I'd say goth folk music. Either way, he's quite humorous, with an incredibly dark sense of humor. One also can't forget his amazing creativity and talent. I really can't say enough about him.
Now that's gorgeous.
Your shots make me think seriously about dropping some heavy money on the 5d.
Blacks are deep, colours are gorgeous and the shots are so clean.
Great gear, great shot.
I honestly couldn't say more about how much I love my 5D. It's awesome, and I've loved it since the moment I picked it up. Especially as when doing event photography, it's absolutely amazing because of it's performance at higher iso's.
I owe a lot of it to my lenses as well. This shot is the simple 50mm 1.4, but the other lenses I've used a lot are the 70-200 f2.8L (I rent), and the 35mm 1.4L which is really fantastic.
Thank you! This one was all about getting just the right positioning on the floor. I had to stand in front of people, but I try not to stay in one place for too long. A lot of event photography is anticipation.
great angle on this one. i love the fact the light behind him gives him some kind of halo! looks real cool effect, overall lighitng really good i think.
i like how the dark edges go into the border... i think this pieces great

Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

As I lay in my bed, looking up to the stars and the moon, I started to ask myself: "Where the hell is my ceiling?"
